Larce Blake's Epic New EP Cracks Spotify Playlists and Shakes Up Radio Airwaves

Several singles from Larce’s latest EP Why Can't I Sleep are featured this week on several editorial playlists. “Bless You” is currently featured on Spotify’s Winter Heat playlist. Elsewhere “Can’t Do It” is featured on Spotify’s Chill & Lo-fi playlist, and the music video is currently playing on VEVO’s Vevo & Chill and Electro R&B playlists. The single has also began receiving radio airplay on KSJS 90.5 FM from the campus of San Jose State University in San Jose, California

Over the past few years Larce Blake has worked and collaborated with breakout producers such as Medasin, Masego, Planet Giza and Kaytranada and producing hits for artists such as Devy Stonez, Charlie Stardom, Ye Ali and KissedKilled; positioning himself to be Dallas' next breakout star. Yet the quiet 22 year old is taking it all in stride preferring consistency over attention.

Larce's story is a journey of self-discovery as a young Filipino and Black millennial finding his place in the world amongst traditions and social pressures of college, drugs, relationships and everything in between. While juggling the pursuit of a Mathematics degree, hosting long-running radio show, producing music, touring across the U.S. and Pacific Islands DJing and maintaining a day job as a waiter, its no wonder he can't sleep. Why Can't I Sleep is a passion project that attempts to explore these topics briefly through sounds and grooves.
